I know they're out of order, but that's just how it's happening so far. I thought I'd get some more feedback on the process
This is from the end scene:

Yes indeed! That was the (quite loose) basis for this story! I've always loved that idea, ever since I was little, so now I'm trying to bring it back to life

In a Dark Dark Room was my absolute favorite book as a kid. I even have pictures of myself with a green ribbon around my neck lol. It's nice to know there are others out there with the same appreciation for that book!
